Privacy Policy & Data Governance
At Poultria (accessible from poultria.com), the privacy of our visitors and the confidentiality of their farm operational data is of paramount importance. This Privacy Policy details the types of information that is collected and recorded by Poultria and how we utilize and safeguard that information in accordance with global data protection frameworks, including the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).
Client-Side Computation & Farm Data Confidentiality
A cornerstone of Poultria's architectural design is client-side local execution. When you input sensitive commercial metrics—such as flock headcounts, live weights, daily mortality counts, feed ingredient costs, or farm financial budgets—into our calculators:
- Your proprietary farm performance numbers are processed entirely within your device's web browser using JavaScript.
- We do NOT transmit, capture, log, or sell your private farm production numbers to remote servers, external databases, agribusiness conglomerates, or commercial aggregators.
- Your input data disappears or resets when you refresh the browser, maintaining total commercial privacy.
Log Files & Technical Analytics
Like all web servers, Poultria follows standard logging procedures. The information collected by log files includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date/time stamp, referring/exit pages, and the number of clicks. This information is used strictly to analyze aggregate traffic patterns, administer the site, prevent malicious denial-of-service attempts, and ensure high platform availability. This technical diagnostic data is not linked to any personally identifiable information.
We do not employ third-party behavioral advertising trackers, invasive cross-site profiling beacons, or personal data mining scripts.
User Rights & Data Inquiries
Under GDPR and CCPA, users hold fundamental rights regarding their information: the right to access, the right to rectification, the right to erasure, and the right to restrict processing. Because Poultria does not require mandatory user account registration or store personal identification data, most operations are completely anonymous by default.
